County-Specific COVID-19 Vaccine Sites

Every Nevadan 16+ is now eligible to receive a free COVID-19 vaccine. Below is a list of vaccine sites available in your county. You can also search by pharmacy. If you are scheduling a vaccine for someone 16-17 years old, confirm the pharmacy offers the Pfizer vaccine, as that is currently the only vaccine authorized for that age.

Note: When you schedule your appointment, make sure you will be available for your 2nd dose 21 days (Pfizer) or 28 days (Moderna) later.

Nevada counties receive limited doses of COVID-19 vaccine weekly.

Appointments for vaccination will be open when doses are available, please keep checking back for open appointments. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance, so that no vaccine is wasted.

There may be high volume on scheduling websites, vaccinating partners appreciate your patience.

The Nevada State Legislature now has appointments open to the public, appointments go live every Friday for the following week.

Carson City County Veterans are advised that they may be served by the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System 

  • VASNHCS has expanded vaccinations to ALL veterans, their spouses, eligible caregivers and CHAMPVA beneficiaries. If you meet the SAVE LIVES Act criteria, your local VA medical center is offering COVID-19 vaccines on a first come, first serve basis, dependent on vaccine availability.
  • If you are a Veteran not yet enrolled, although not required, it is helpful if you bring your DD-214 (separation papers) with you.
  • Please come to your local VA medical center to complete the initial paperwork and receive your vaccine. Please note that IF vaccine sessions are filled on a day you walk in, we will schedule you for the soonest appointment that accommodates your calendar

Nevada Health Centers is currently offering COVID-19 vaccines to individuals who meet the eligibility requirements. Vaccine supply is limited, and appointments for eligible individuals will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be prepared to show proof of age and/or occupation prior to receiving the vaccine.

Churchill County is administering free vaccines to all Nevadans 18+ at the county fairgrounds. Those using the fairgrounds should enter off of Miners Road off Highway 95 south. All Sheckler entrances will be closed. No appointment necessary, vaccines available on a first come, first served basis as long as supplies allow.

  • Nevadans 18+. Currently the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized for use in individual ages 16-17 is the Pfizer vaccine. Janssen and Moderna are not authorized for use in those under the age of 18 at this time.
  • At this time, Churchill County not administering to anyone under the age of 18.

COVID-19 vaccinations from University Medical Center (UMC) are open to all Nevadans 16+.

Storey County

Storey County Veterans are advised that they may be served by the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System 

  • VASNHCS has expanded vaccinations to ALL veterans, their spouses, eligible caregivers and CHAMPVA beneficiaries. If you meet the SAVE LIVES Act criteria, your local VA medical center is offering COVID-19 vaccines on a first come, first serve basis, dependent on vaccine availability.
  • If you are a Veteran not yet enrolled, although not required, it is helpful if you bring your DD-214 (separation papers) with you.
  • Please come to your local VA medical center to complete the initial paperwork and receive your vaccine. Please note that IF vaccine sessions are filled on a day you walk in, we will schedule you for the soonest appointment that accommodates your calendar

The Washoe County Health District has a homebound COVID-19 vaccine program and residents can sign up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by calling 775-328-2427.  A public health nurse will come to your residence to administer the vaccine free of charge.
