National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW)

Keeping our littlest ones up-to-date on their immunizations is everyone’s responsibility. Each year, we work with partners throughout the state during NIIW to spread the message about getting infant and toddler immunizations on time, in the hopes of not spreading vaccine-preventable diseases.

Typically held in late April, NIIW is an annual observance that includes local and state health departments, national immunization partners, healthcare professionals and community leaders to celebrate the positive impact of vaccination on the lives of infants and children.

Previous Immunize Nevada NIIW events have included community health fairs, free immunization clinics, provider education summits and more. More information can be found at:
