COURSE INFORMATION
As public health and healthcare professionals, treating the whole person is more important in today's changing healthcare system than ever. The health of Nevadans is not something that can be compartmentalized. Our health follows us throughout our life and this conference is an opportunity to break out of silos and learn about integration of health throughout the lifespan.
The Annual Nevada Health Conference, October 28-30 in Henderson Nevada, is a three day conference featuring regional and national experts presenting on the topics of chronic disease prevention and health promotion; immunizations; and maternal, child and adolescent health (MCAH). Attendees can earn continuing education credits during plenary and concurrent sessions.
- Specialized concurrent and plenary sessions focuses on chronic disease prevention and health promotion; immunizations; maternal, child and adolescent health (MCAH) education.
- Bright Futures Tool Kit and Resource Kit review session by Dr. Judy Shaw.
- A live, two-day course featuring the CDC's Two-Day Epidemiology and Vaccine Preventable Diseases Pink Book Course is confirmed.
CONFERENCE FEES
The Nevada Health Conference attendees have the option to attend one, two or three days of the conference. Fees for the conference reflect a per day cost. Registration deadlines and fees are as follows:
- Early bird deadline: Friday, June 28 - $75/day
- Advance registration: Friday, August 30 - $100/day
- On-site registration: October 28 and 29 - $150/day
- A discounted rate is available for students beginning at $30 per day
